Were you looking for information about Desoxyn? Desoxen is a common misspelling of Desoxyn.

Desoxyn® is a prescription drug that is licensed to treat obesity and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). By affecting certain chemicals in the brain, the medication can produce a calming effect on people with ADHD. Desoxyn works as a short-term treatment of obesity by suppressing appetite and increasing metabolism; however, the medication usually stops being effective for weight loss after a few weeks. Some of the more common side effects of Desoxyn include high blood pressure, dry mouth, and restlessness. The medication should be used with caution because it may potentially lead to addiction and abuse.
