Dexedrine

dextroamphetamine sulfate) is a medication that is available by prescription to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (
ADHD). Since it is a stimulant and is commonly abused, there are special rules for prescribing and dispensing it.
Dexedrine Spansules® are specially designed capsules that release the medicine slowly over time. They can be taken just once a day, which eliminates the need to take the medication at school or at work. The drug is also available in a tablet form that is taken two or three times daily.
While most people tolerate Dexedrine well, side effects are possible. Some of the most commonly reported side effects include
constipation, dizziness, dry mouth, and weight loss.
You should talk to your healthcare provider before taking this medication if you are pregnant, have heart problems of any kind, or have a history of alcohol or drug abuse.
