Adderall XR 30 mg Capsules
Of the six strengths available for Adderall XR® (amphetamine-dextroamphetamine extended release), 30 mg is the strongest strength on the market. Adderall XR 30 mg capsules are typically taken once a day, first thing in the morning. The capsules contain tiny beads that release the medication slowly, so it is important to swallow Adderall XR whole (do not chew or crush it).
The dose of Adderall XR your healthcare provider recommends will vary depending on a number of factors, including:
- Your age
- Other ADHD medications you have tried
- Other medical conditions you may have
- Other medications you are currently taking.
