ADHD Home > When a Child and Parent Both Have ADHD
A Final Note for Undiagnosed Parents
If you're like many parents of kids with ADHD, you may suspect that you have it as well, even if you've never been diagnosed. You may have been dragging your feet on this issue, but this is one of those situations where ignorance is certainly not bliss. Do yourself (and your family) a favor by talking to your doctor about the possibility that you might have ADHD. Even if you choose not to take medication (which is a personal decision), just gaining knowledge about how your brain works can be useful.
