Pressor medications, seizure medications, and other drugs can cause problems when taken with Concerta. Some of these interactions can increase the amount of the medications in your blood, potentially increasing your risk of side effects. An Overview of Interactions With Concerta

Concerta® (methylphenidate extended release) can potentially interact with several drugs. Some of the drugs that may lead to interactions with Concerta include:
 
  • Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), including:

 

 

 

    • Dopamine (Intropin®)
    • Dobutamine (Dobutrex®)
    • Epinephrine (Adrenaline®, EpiPen®)
