Daytrana Use in Teens With ADHD

Originally, Daytrana was approved only for use in children age 6 through 12; it was not initially approved for use in teens. However, in 2010, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Daytrana for use in adolescents (age 13 through 17). Research has shown that this medication is similarly safe and effective in teens, compared with children.
