ADHD Home > Intuniv Warnings and Precautions

Who Should Not Take Intuniv?

Your child should not take Intuniv if he or she is allergic to it, to guanfacine ER, to Tenex® (the short-acting version of guanfacine), or to any of the inactive components used to make Intuniv. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.

Final Thoughts

There are a number of situations in which Intuniv should not be taken, along with several safety concerns people should be aware of before taking the medication. However, it is possible that not all of the warnings and precautions with Intuniv were discussed in this article. Therefore, you should talk with your healthcare provider about the specific issues that may apply to your child.
