Metadate and Depression: A Summary

Even though stimulants like Metadate are sometimes used to treat depression, it has been reported as a possible side effect of the drug. Therefore, it's important for people taking Metadate (or their family members) to know the signs and symptoms of depression. If you notice these in either you or your child, or if something "just does not seem right," you should talk to your healthcare provider right away. He or she will be able to diagnose the problem and recommend treatment options.
