Vyvanse™ (lisdexamfetamine dimesylate) is a medication licensed to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in adults, adolescents, and children.
 
It is available by prescription only comes in six different strengths, ranging from 20 mg Vyvanse capsules to 70 mg Vyvanse capsules.
 
Your healthcare provider will recommend your dosage based on several factors, including other ADHD drugs you may have tried and other existing medical conditions you may have.
 
The usual recommended starting dose for treating ADHD in adults and children age 6 to 12 years old is Vyvanse 30 mg once daily in the morning. If necessary, your healthcare provider may increase your dosage if your ADHD symptoms are not controlled. The maximum recommended dosage is Vyvanse 70 mg per day.
