Metadate ER Uses for Narcolepsy

Metadate ER is also used for the treatment of narcolepsy. Symptoms of narcolepsy include falling unsleep uncontrollably and at unusual times. People with the condition often appear paralyzed when they are asleep and have hallucinations when falling asleep. These people may also fall asleep several times during the day.
 
For people with narcolepsy, Metadate ER acts as a stimulant to help them stay awake and alert during the day.
 

Metadate ER Uses in Young Children

Metadate ER is not recommended for children under the age of six. Talk to your healthcare provider about the benefits and risks of using the drug in very young children.
 

Off-Label Metadate ER Uses
