MethylinMethylin is commonly prescribed for the treatment of narcolepsy and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The medication produces a calming effect when used to treat ADHD and also works as a stimulant to help people with narcolepsy. It is available as chewable tablets or an oral solution, and is usually taken two or three times a day. Weight loss, dizziness, and stomach pain are common side effects seen with Methylin.
