Phenylalanine Drug Interactions

It may be a "natural" product, but if certain medications are taken with phenylalanine, drug interactions could occur. These interactions could lead to potentially dangerous side effects or may make some conditions, like Parkinson's, worse. Medications that can cause phenylalanine drug interactions include MAOIs, antipsychotic medications, and medicines containing levodopa.
