What If I Take an Overdose?

An overdose of Quillivant XR can lead to a variety of symptoms, including anxiety, restlessness, nausea, vomiting, tremors, and seizures. If you take too much of this medication, seek immediate medical attention.

How Should Quillivant XR Be Stored?

Quillivant XR should be stored at room temperature, in its original container. Your pharmacist will mix the medication prior to dispensing it. The medication must be used within four months of being mixed.
 
Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children. Because this medication is a controlled substance with the potential for abuse, you should keep it in a safe place.
 

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you do not take your Quillivant XR as scheduled, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, however, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Keep in mind that taking a dose later in the day may lead to difficulty with sleeping. Do not take a double dose.

Quillivant XR comes in one form and strength: Quillivant XR 25 mg per 5 mL. It is available in the following bottle sizes:

  • 120 mL
  • 150 mL
  • 180 mL.
 

Alternatives
