Serious Side Effects

Some side effects of Quillivant XR should be reported immediately to your healthcare provider. These potential reactions include but are not limited to:
 
  • Signs of an allergic reaction to Quillivant XR, such as:
    • An unexplained rash
    • Hives
    • Itching
    • Unexplained swelling, especially of the mouth, lips, or throat
    • Wheezing or difficulty breathing
    • Difficulty swallowing
 
  • Signs of heart problems, such as:
    • Chest pain
    • Shortness of breath
    • Dizziness or fainting
    • A rapid, forceful, or abnormal heartbeat
 
  • Signs of Raynaud's disease, such as cold and numb fingers and toes
  • Unusual thoughts or behaviors
  • Thoughts of suicide or self-harm
  • Hearing or seeing things that are not real (hallucinations)
  • Abnormally long-lasting or frequent painful erections of the penis in males of any age
  • Believing things that are not real, or feeling suspicious (delusions)
  • An abnormally elevated mood
  • Agitation, irritability, or restlessness
  • Ongoing or extreme difficulty sleeping (insomnia)
  • Depression
  • Abnormal or uncontrollable repetitive movements
  • The urge to take more Quillivant XR than prescribed or take it for a nonmedical purpose.
