Ritalin SR Uses for Narcolepsy

Symptoms of narcolepsy include falling asleep uncontrollably and at unusual times. People with the condition often appear paralyzed when they are asleep and have hallucinations when falling asleep. In addition, people with narcolepsy often fall asleep several times during the day.
 
When used to treat narcolepsy, Ritalin SR has a stimulating effect, which helps people with it stay awake and alert during the day.
 

Ritalin SR Uses in Young Children

Ritalin SR is not recommended for children under the age of six. Talk to your healthcare provider about the benefits and risks of using Ritalin SR in young children.
