It is not known if saffron interacts with any dietary supplements or medications. No studies have been performed to look for drug interactions between saffron and medications or other supplements. Even though saffron is a natural product, it may interact with drugs or supplements. Many herbal supplements have drug interactions, and it cannot be assumed that saffron is automatically free of drug interactions just because it is an herbal supplement.
