This prescription medication comes in capsule form and is generally taken once or twice a day. Although it is not exactly clear how Strattera works, it is known to affect certain chemicals in the brain, such as norepinephrine. Unlike other ADHD medications, Strattera is not a stimulant and is not likely to be abused.
