Strattera Warnings and Precautions

Some Strattera warnings and precautions to be aware of include potential drug interactions, the safety of taking Strattera while pregnant or nursing, and the risk of psychotic symptoms or liver damage in some people who take the drug. A few of the conditions you should tell your healthcare provider about before you take Strattera include bladder problems, high blood pressure, bipolar disorder, and heart problems of any kind. Among the people who should not take Strattera are those with narrow angle glaucoma and those taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).

  • Are breastfeeding.
     
It's important to also tell your healthcare provider about all other medicines you may be taking, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
